About the Charity –
Highgate School is one of the UK’s leading co-educational independent schools. It educates children from the ages 3-18 years old.
Highgate aims to provide an environment for all their pupils that is safe and nurturing to each individual, whilst offering high-calibre, academically-minded teaching with a focus on scholarship and independence for all, rather than on exam outcomes.
Support –
Even though times have been uncertain with Covid-19, this charity’s response to the situation has been second to none!
We continue to support the many avenues of fundraising they have implemented here on Givey.

Fundraising Journey –
Highgate started their fundraising journey with Givey in early May.
We have seen an outstanding amount of support from their donors, enabling them to give significant support towards their causes!
So I’m sure you would agree with us: this charity definitely deserves a shoutout!
To date, their biggest fundraising success was a fundraiser to support Digital Access in state schools. Their Head, Adam Pettitt, raised enough money to buy over 300 laptops for local children, smashing their £50k target, raising closer to £75k. Adam completed his marathon in 3 hours 28 minutes: – a very impressive time!
They also sought advice from our support team here at Givey, helping them to use our platform for their fundraising journey.

Mr Pettitt wanted to run the marathon to help raise funds for pupils at their Chrysalis partner schools who need digital resources at home. It’s a race against time for those pupils losing their education daily with no access to online learning.
Highgate is Here matches Givey’s values of championing local communities. They appreciate and interact with the support from our platform. We freely promote them on our major social media channels, these include Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. These posts are shared with our 70k+ Givey Community.
