The season of goodwill has officially started! This week we dug deep for #GivingTuesday and today we’re all donning our Santa hats and sparkly sweaters in the office for Christmas Jumper Day. But aside from all the St. Nick-themed knitwear and kitsch cardigans, how else do our employers fare for the rest of the year when it comes to supporting a cause?
We surveyed 2,000 UK adults to find out whether they felt their employers were fulfilling their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and supporting the causes they care about. Our new report – Corporate Social Responsibility: UK Workforce in the Dark – found that British workers are none the wiser about their organisation’s charitable efforts.
Here’s what we found…
To ensure that CSR fills its objective, we’ve launched Givey for Business – an online donations tool that makes the corporate donation process more fun and encourages employees to support the causes closest to them.
Employers can also match donations instantly and set up a branded company donations page to share team events and fundraising successes.
If you’re an employee and would like your work place to get involved with Givey for Business, get Giveying here.
