Firstly, I’d like to congratulate you all – Us Briton’s are officially one of the most ‘giving’ nation of people in the world! We like to donate our hard earned cash to support a variety of causes, both national and international. However, in a study recently conducted by Givey, we found that a staggering proportion of the donations in the UK go to only around 5% of charities, these being the larger size / ‘big brands’.
We represent the forgotten heroes – the small charities who are struggling to raise the funds they need to survive. All of us here feel passionately that these charities deserve a chance and by providing a social donations platform we can help those smaller organisations raise the funds they need to keep on helping the causes they were set up to serve.
In a world where entrepreneurs can compete with the giants of business, so should the smaller charities be allowed to compete on a level playing field and be given the respect they deserve for their bravery and good will to support a cause they believe in.
We want to highlight and help the forgotten 95% of charities, so will you join us by searching through our community of causes and give a little to the charities that resonate with your charity goals and humanitarian beliefs – every pound counts and they will receive 100% of the donation through our platform, with no hidden charges to the charity.
Do also provide us your feedback and help support our drive by writing in your own blogs / sites and commenting on this blog post about your thoughts on why the smaller causes get forgotten so easily. Maybe we can help them to stand out and get noticed more.
